Interviewing and enrolling eligible participants into the study. Was actively involved in the phase 1 clinical trial of XL184 in the treatment of Renal Cell Carcinoma. It was a study to evaluate drug-drug interaction of XL184 and single dose rosiglitazone. I was responsible for documenting extent of disease at the baseline and following intervention by identifying target and non-target lesions. I was also actively involved in toxicity assessment and data management. My Duties as a research volunteer also involved in the compilation,

collection and documentation of research data like filling out eCRFs and analyzing progression of disease. Provide education to patients and staff who were directly or indirectly responsible for enrolling patients and assuring compliance for all patients. Working closely with research team and patients for proper execution of the clinical trial as required by the study protocol. Made Reports on adverse reactions of study drugs for Institutional Review Board.

The Drug society is run by medical students, graduates and supervised by our medical school. It is a philanthropic society which provides support and help to poor patients who are unable to pay for their treatment. As a member of the society our job is to provide drugs, medical supplies and arrange blood donors for the destitute patients and to organize health camps in the urban slums of the city. For all the above motives we generate funds by motivating people to donate and help the society for the genuine cause.

Three months compulsory posting in rural areas under department of Community Medicine where: Conducted a survey on Incidence of Polio in children after immunization. Worked with resistant families in removing their doubts and dilemmas regarding polio immunization. Attended a one day workshop on revised National Tuberculosis Control Program (RNTCP). Presentation on malnutrition among children, its prevention & cure. Spreading awareness among people towards family planning and prevention from AIDS. Fifteen days compulsory posting in Emergency Medicine Department where I acquired practical knowledge of different medical emergencies and also learned many short surgical procedures.

Inform the respective consultant about the admission of the patient and to instruct the nursing staff about the necessary orders to be carried out. To take rounds and examine individual patients. To calm the patients if they are apprehensive. Inform the consultant if needed.
